Parent Must-Haves
Kangaroo Care understands how difficult the birth of a premature baby can be. Sometimes, parents may not be given any warning, and may have to head over to the hospital at a moment's notice. In these cases, it is important for the parents to have an emergency care bag ready.
The things to include in an emergency bag are as follows:
- Hospital paperwork, IDs and insurance cards
- A soft bathrobe
- 2-3 pairs of socks
- Slippers and flip-flops
- Lip balms
- Body lotion
- Water spray and sponge
- Nightgowns
- Heavy-duty maternity pads
- Several pairs of comfortable underwear and bras
- Toiletries
